Johnny Jackow is an actor, singer, dancer, pianist, and a published writer and poet. Born and raised in Houston, Texas- he now calls New York City home.
As an artist, Johnny has had the great privilege of learning from the best in the world. From studying at The Juilliard School to working with world renowned acting teachers Susan Batson, Wynn Handman, and others. He is trained vocally in both musical theatre and pop styles. As a dancer, Johnny has been trained in jazz, theatre, ballet, and hip-hop but tap has become his go-to favorite dance style. Performing in tap shows and festivals all over New York City and abroad.
Johnny is also an accomplished pianist. Having performed in concert halls classical pieces from composers Chopin to Beethoven to the more contemporary artists of today, such as Philip Glass.
Johnny draws on inspiration from artists such as Dustin Hoffman, Daniel Day Lewis, Robin Williams, Sean Penn, Stephen Sondheim, Tennessee Williams, among many others.
